Design Engineering & Project Management 

ALP provided subsurface & topsides process engineering and supervisory services during the Stella field development project including well appraisal, initial reservoir modelling, integrated production modelling (IPM), concept select, FEED, detail engineering (by Petrofac UK). Site process support was also provided during construction, pre-commissioning (Remontowa ship yard, Gdansk, Poland).

Installation, Commissioning & start-up process support was also provided offshore. Further support was provided to investigate the use of produced/sea water for re-injection as part of production optimisation and eventually enhanced oil recovery (EOR) vs. using Electronic Submersible Pumps (ESPs). 

The project included a subsea field tie-back to the refurbished semi-submersible production facility (FPF-1), with oil export of 25,000 BPD, 85 MMSCFD of gas and 20,000 bpd produced/seawater injection. The development also included a flare gas recovery package using an educator/compressor to reintroduce the flare gas back into the process.
