Design Engineering & Project Management 

 ALP was awarded a contract by GASCO for the expansion of LPG storage capacity, including concept & FEED design as well as project management during fabrication, construction, commissioning & start-up.

The LPG Storage Capacity Expansion Project comprised the installation of nine new Mounded LPG Storage Bullets (5 vessels to be installed during this Phase ‘1’, with provisions made for 4 future vessels to be installed in Phase ‘2’ together with all necessary LPG filling and distribution pipe work, instrumentation, tie-ins to existing infrastructure etc. 

 The overall dimensions of each bullet are 9250mm ID x 53500mm T/T with a nominal capacity of 4010m3 and an empty weight of approximately 875 tones. The vessels were to be positioned in two separate walled mounds containing 5 and 4 Bullets respectively, with compacted sand used to complete the final Mound.
